Hello! I am Sydnei Mayers, a passionate and dedicated technical communication professional with a strong academic background and a commitment to both my work and my community. I have almost two years of impactful UX research including collaborations with notable clients like DHS, HHS, FEMA, and GaDOE, earning recognition such as a DHS challenge coin and a letter of commendation. With my five years of experience in technical communication, I excel at integrating communication strategies into exceptional user experiences. My passion for effective communication and user-centric design consistently contributes to successful project outcomes.

 

I graduated with honors from Mercer University's School of Engineering in 2021, where I earned a B.S. in Technical Communication. As a senior, I embarked on an exciting journey by enrolling in Mercer's 4+1 program, working towards a M.S. in Technical Communication Management. I proudly completed my master's degree in May 2023, maintaining an impressive 3.9/4.0 GPA throughout my academic journey. I also hold a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, demonstrating my expertise in process improvement and efficiency. 

 

My commitment to helping others extends beyond the classroom. I actively engage with my peers and community, always striving to offer support whenever possible. When you work with me, you can expect 100% transparency and unwavering dedication to our shared goals.

 

Outside of my professional pursuits, I find immense fulfillment in giving back to the community. I volunteer at a local low-income senior apartment complex, where I cherish the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the senior residents. I have even adopted several grandparents. In my leisure time, you will often find me immersed in the captivating worlds of Marvel and DC series, fueling my love for storytelling and creativity. I am an avid reader with a particular passion for fantasy and romance novels.
